“ Another wonderful evening in Sevenoaks’s finest. The tagliatelle cacio e Pepe with Parmesan and rocket is the very best I’ve had anywhere; perfect pasta in a deliciously creamy sauce and just the slightest kick of pepper. The whipped hummus starter was delightful and the lemon posset pudding was an absolute treat. Nice to see this restaurant full but hardly surprising given the fabulous fare and charming and engaging team. Thank you. ”
“ Spent a wonderful afternoon catching up with an old work colleague. Restaurant is lovely and clean, received a warm welcome and had a choice of tables. The menus are focused and this means that the kitchen is more likely to cook fresh - had the haddock risotto which was delicious, came to the table hot and was really enjoyed. Pudding delicious too and I’ll certainly be coming back despite the fact I live about 30miles away... ”
“ Our first visit and will definitely be back. Received a warm welcome on arrival and staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Choice of a set menu, main menu or vegan menu for lunch. The squid and Toulouse sausages & mash potatoes from the set menu were both delicious. As were the tempura prawns (main menu) and butter bean cassoulet from the vegan options. All reasonably priced. ”

“ We booked for 10 guests in the “Gallery” which is a semi-private area at the back of the restaurant. Perfect for a family celebration with space for up to 14. Everyone had 3 courses and all dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. The Sunday roasts were all superb and the best we’ve had in a while - all served with a cauliflower cheese side. Extensive wine list. Highly recommended and would love to return for dinner with my wife / other larger family celebrations. ”

I was able to substitute the gnocchi for broccoli no problem. I liked the carafe of wine... that isnt a choice much these days so its nice to have the option. The ambience and lighting was very welcoming, relaxing and calm. Kinda romantic with the right person ! Definitely going back. ”
